BEAR Harrisburg PA area. Bear, a black Lab mix who lived his entire life on a chain and his only shelter was a crate until just a couple of weeks ago when he was rescued by CPAA. But Bear is now rescued and life is much better for this sweet dog. His former owner said he is 10yo, but he appears and acts much younger. Although he has never had vet care until recently, his teeth are in great shape, he is lean and fairly active. He is HW negative, neutered, and now UTD on all shots, on Frontline and Interceptor. Bear is very sweet, well-mannered, and doing very well with his training and housebreaking. He walks very well on the leash and is good with other dogs and children; and, as you can imagine, after being chained for his entire life he craves attention and LOVES to be petted. He needsand deservesa loving person or family to give him a nice warm, comfy home for the remainder of his life.
