Once signed, Bruce Willis will play General Joe Colton, the original G.I. Joe and the man from which the military superteam gets its name. The character's history dates back to the 1960s where he graduated with top honors from West Point, served in a series of elite Army groups, and was recruited by President John F. Kennedy himself to form the ultimate fighting force for freedom. G.I. Joe: Retaliation is scheduled to hit theaters June 29, 2012.

You beat me to it SD! I was going to say something very similar! Since we have the skystriker.. might be awesome if the Joes had something close to it for the second joe film. The skyhawks were shown in a sort of way.. But... a Tomahawk would really be awesome. Even if it gets an updated face lift like the Cat did .. maybe make it a little less stubby in the front, and more able to carry a small vehicle like the FWD Ferret. We don`t need more of those.. less they plan to re-release the one they had with Leatherneck... Adding to these clearly good points you raised, there's also multiples of Presidential helicopters to serve as decoys, to avoid those targeting the exact vehicle carrying the Cmdr-in-Chief. What I had in mind for the human decoy himself, President Zartan, involved taking such decoys even further. To further escape those targeting him, Zartan further avoids riding those official whitetop presidential helicopters, the VH-3D Sea King or VH-60N WhiteHawk. Instead, he takes the decoy further, by riding a greenside CH-46 as further decoy, for many believe its simply a "Presidential support" vehicle. Doing this, the movie wonderfully uses a copter that inspired the Tomahawk (CH-46) and still keeps within the lines of a script using President Zartan and his entire Presidential fleet of choppers, both greenside / support vehicles and whitetop copters. Perhaps llke Joe's Renegades toon (below) the CH-46 decoy can be like the Coyote truck decoy with secret "camouflage technology." President Zartan flips a secret switch. Then, what movie audiences see as just a "support" copter, changes into something else! Its classified camo tech, makes the copter suddenly look much more like that familiar camouflage/colors of the classic Tomahawk!!! Movie audiences go nuts, roar in thunderous applause, and rush to toy aisles in search for the Tomahawk CH-46! It may seem a little too much, but this allows fans to chime-in as the film progresses. As seen in CornDog Ninja's good points on Presidential helicopters, we're able to hash-out details and show how we (for example) can logically bring such fan favorites, as the Tomahawk helicopter. So front-paging the movie progress gives guys like Rhett Reese (who's also onboard the 'Tank) a good chance to make quick adjustments, edits, etc. It may seem a little too much, but this allows fans to chime-in as the film progresses.
